A very attractive vintage Moroccan rug in great condition.

Intensely red pile over a stunning saffron ground with brightly coloured ornaments picked out in blues and whites. The red has faded in parts to give lovely highlights on the central field and to subtle browns around the border pattern. The reverse, with the dyes untouched by the sun, is such a beautiful warm Indian Yellow we would happily hang this backwards.

This has been professionally cleaned, and is in superb condition. The pile is very soft, worn now in some small areas but generally excellent. A lovely and unusual rug
