Rare early carved and leather animal figure, probably by Omersa for Liberty.
A good size, coming in at 69cm x 24cm, and very decorative. Really rare to see one of these figures of this age, and in completely original, unrestored condition.
Missing his teeth and whiskers now, and with scuffs to the leather, this beautiful panther wears his age on his sleeve, see images for details. It is in completely solid condition, the wear to the leather is stable and secure. We have decided not to restore as it is so rare to find one without later replacement parts and patches.
