A pretty, sophisticated and elegant early example. With a striking and simple design of four roses with snaking tendrils of smaller flowers this piece delivers instant class wherever it hangs.
 
The white sik ground is bright and clean, with just two small spots of yellowing. The embroidery is overall very good condition, some pulled threads but no losses. Tassels are all present with no losses or damage. Still has the original owners name on a label at the back.
