The wool has aged wonderfully, giving this a huge array of colours (known as "Abrash", this is the result of different batches of dyed wool ageing and changing at different rates as the rug ages, something you just can't get on a new rug).

No major issues, some very small areas of wear/loss in places where the warp threads are visible, see images.

Sofreh are small tribal rugs used for serving food in the tent. This one is typical in both size and design, being 4ft square. It is a flat weave kilim and very hard wearing and durable.
