An extremely attractive Bakhtiari Saddlebag, around 30 - 40 years old.

Beautifully woven to both sides, with the highly decorative face using a soumak weave and having a plainer kilim reverse. The colours are strong and vibrant and it is in superb, clean condition, some wear/loss to the pile at the ends, loose threads to the selvages.

Makes a wonderful wall hanging or the most amazing oversized pillows. No great age, but one of the most attractive designs we have seen.
