Magnificently coloured Berber rug, circa 1950's
 
The central field has been woven in bands of deep reds and oranges, age has added a multitude of additional hues to each original colour. The effect is fantastic, a truly beautiful rug. The single emerald green motif is a great touch to the original design and elevates this piece another notch again. The charcoal border also has surprises up it's sleeve, revealing deep greens where the sun has faded it.
